JOHOR BARU: A food manufacturer has assured consumers that its products are melamine-free and safe for consumption following numerous enquiries from customers.

Super Coffeemix Marketing Sdn Bhd and Super Food Marketing Sdn Bhd executive director Steven Lim said about 10 products that contained non-dairy creamer were tested by an independent laboratory in Singapore and proven to be melamine free.

“We tested the products after media reports on China’s milk products containing melamine and received enquiries from customers,” he told a press conference at their office in Masai yesterday.

“We are making this announcement to assure our customers that the products are safe for consumption,” he said, adding that demand for its products had not dropped since the reports.
